Mindfulness is much spoken of nowadays - it is being intorduced in schools, workplaces, the NHS, criminal justice system and even Parliament itself.  The benefits of mindfulness are multiple and widely available.   It has increased in popularity in response to the increase in stress in the population and rise in mental health problems.

Jon Kabat-Zinn is the founder of mindfulness-based stress reduction programmes and the author of many usefulbooks on this subject.  He talks about this on the video below:
